Under Helm SmartCraft Connect Mercury Gateway for Simrad* Level 2 Single Engine
Integrate Simrad (NSX, NSX Ultrawide, NSS 4 series) or Mercury VesselView 4 Series multi-function displays with your Mercury SmartCraft propulsion system. Also unlocks the Mercury app page on your compatible Garmin or Raymarine product on the same network as a Simrad or Vesselview 4 Series product. However, if you only have Garmin or Raymarine MFD on your boat then this product is not suitable - please see the Level 3 gateways instead for Garmin or Raymarine. If you have older model Simards (such as NSS Evo 3, Go or older models) then please contact us for alternative products.

Compatibility FAQ:
- The SmartConnect gateways are not able to be configured from your MFD. Configuration via the Mercury Marine App or Smarftcraft Manager App Android or IOS is required for full functionality. Configuration includes setting the engine model, serial and number of engines, and setting up any tanks connected to your engines via their boat/fuel harness. A separate wifi connection to the device being used to configure the module is also required during the initial configuration.
- This device will work with Simrad NSX, Simrad NSX Ultrawide, Simrad NSS 4 & Simrad Mercury VesselView 4, plus certain Garmin and Raymarine MFD if you have any of the above Simrad/Mercury MFD on your network.
- If you already have an existing NMEA gateway installed (such as a VesselView Screen, Smart Gauge, engine gateway, or VesselView link, then we recommend you disconnect the NMEA 2000 connection from that gateway when connecting the SmartConnect gateway. Multiple engine gateways may cause duplication issues on your gauge display on your MFD.
- For single engine applications that have existing SmartCraft architecture (an available junction box at the helm), you can install a this module directly under the helm. Do not install this module directly onto an engine.
- For boats with single engines - where you want to install directly onto the engine refer to separate product 8M0235016.
- For multi-engine applications you will need a different module - under helm only 1 - 4 engine, see part 8M0235018.
- Please note at this stage the module requires a wired NMEA2000 connection to your MFD. The Bluetooth and WIFI are for phone/tablet use, diagnostics and configuration.
